Madison’s Song
Get Back Up Again was the glimmer in eight-year-old Madison Kirksey’s eye. . .
A philanthropist at heart, Madison, Founder and CEO, generously handed out
packages with crackers and water, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and a $5 bill to the
homeless people she met.
As the concept of Get Back Up Again materialized, Madison documented her idea for this
organization of hope, informing her parents that she no longer wanted an allowance,
so she could realize her vision — helping our homeless rise with dignity, pride, hope,
and success using local volunteer resources, services, and philanthropists
to get the job done.
Licensed in April 2019, Get Back Up Again’s efforts went viral in January 2019. Two Sundays a month, volunteers began hosting an event that provided packages of essential health and hygiene items to the homeless. Erica Holton, President, and CFO (and Madison’s devoted and supportive mother) coordinates the donation intake, storage and distribution, organization’s events, and accounting.

Super Sunday Line Ups cover a host of essentials. Our homeless select the lines that provide for specific, immediate needs — prayers, particular needs, wearables, footwear, health, and hygiene.
